About Us

Shanaglen Technology is a consulting company that has worked for FMCG food companies in Australia and internationally. It has been in business since 1991.

  • Worked in the field of new product development and food research for 30 years, primarily in the field of product & process innovation and NPD management.

  • Delivered over 100 new and improved products that have generated in excess of $AUS1.5Billion. In 2008 alone, the top four products netted over $200M.

  • Specialist in seeking out new market opportunities and then developing products to fill consumer needs.

  • Extensive product knowledge and experience covering many product types from pet food to culinary fine herbs. Similarly a wide-ranging experience in processing technologies from fresh handling and delivery to long shelf life products such as freezing and canning.

  • Worked for major multinational companies i.e. Mars, Nestle and Simplot. Launched products in several countries – Japan, US and the UK.

  • Employed in many roles covering scientific and research roles including the CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization)

  • Sole inventor of a new fruit packaging system, co-inventor of three US patents and one European patent in the area of new developments into new recipe design and process development.

  • Won awards for research and development work involving novel new technologies. Rabobank Technology and Innovation Award 2001

  • Developed and managed new product development teams SIMPLOT – Edgell & Leggos, Golden Circle and Berri.

  • Developed entire ranges of products from initial concept through to commercialisation
